Appellee debtors filed petitions under chapter 11, and one of the debtors asked the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts for an order discharging a mortgage held by appellant LLC, pursuant to the Massachusetts Obsolete Mortgages Statute, Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 260, § 33. The bankruptcy court discharged the mortgage, and the LLC appealed.
